Yvonne Gillum, Student Support Coordinator,
put together a program that involved selected students from each 5th grade
class at the school. Approximately 12 to 15 students were involved.
Each day the students would take readings of the school's electric meters
and record the data on a log sheet. Each week the students would
meet with Mrs. Gillum to complete their graph of the schools energy use
as well as other projects (such as light switch posters) to promote energy
awareness at the school.
Mrs. Gillum assists a student with his energy use graph.
Students are creating switch plate posters for use around campus.
Students are recording meter readings that will be used to create a
graph.
