Here
are some ways you can support our program.
Community support of our program is very important to the success of
improved student/teacher education and environmental stewardship.
Here are some ways you can help.
DONATE
If you would like to give a donation for Project Green Machine please
send your check to the address below. On the memo line indicate "Project
Green Machine." The entire amount of what ever you send goes toward
teaching supplies, teacher grants, and teacher stipends for subjects related
to environmental stewardship (energy, water, recycling, native plants,
and other related subjects). These subjects are already required
under the Florida Sunshine State Standards. Your donation will go
toward enriching the learning experience for students and teachers, thus
having a greater positive impact on our community.

VOLUNTEER
There is a continuing need for afterschool programs for students.
Many schools have organized science clubs that focus on environmental subjects.
Each club requires a teacher sponsor. Volunteers are needed to help
teachers during after school club meetings. It is not necessary that
you have a background in these subjects. If you do, that is great!
Most of the time teachers are grateful for another adult helper.
And you can learn along with the students. If you are interested
in volunteering, click on the contact below.

PARTNER
If your company or organization would like to make a donation to Project
Green Machine we would welcome your assistance. We have several initiatives
underway that require more resources than we currently have available.
One such project is the Project Green Machine Learning Trail
at the Discovery Science and Outdoor Center. The City of Ocala and
Marion County Public Schools have teamed up to develop several exhibits
and displays devoted to environmental stewardship and energy science.
Your support will go a long way to make this plan a reality. If you
are interested in a partnership with Project Green Machine, click on the
contact below.
