Energy
Monetary Incentives
|
Your school may be eligible to share in the savings that
result from your energy waste reduction efforts. The shared savings
program guidelines are noted below. If you have any further questions
you can contact Rob Van
Der Like, 671-6907. You may also want to check back periodically
on the SAVE Team page to see what other
schools are doing with energy waste reduction. |
As employees of the school district we are already expected to use the
resources entrusted to us in a wise and prudent manner. We already
get paid to not waste the precious resources provided to us by the tax-paying
public. However, having an awards and monetary incentive program
is a great management tool for principals and directors in their efforts
to develop good energy saving habits in their organization. Grant
money is also available for teachers who would like to incorporate the
Project Green Machine service-learning activities into their curriculum.
