Congratulations New Awardees!
Grant Application Form
Everyone in our district has a direct impact on the savings we can achieve through eliminating waste (energy, water, materials).  Having awards recognition, monetary incentives, and teachers' grants is a great management tool for principals and directors in their efforts to encourage their employees to conserve.  Grant money is for teachers who would like to incorporate Project Green Machine service-learning activities into their curriculum.
Teacher Grants

The purpose of these grants is to provide resources to teachers who would like to conduct Project Green Machine activities in their classes.  The Public Education Foundation of Marion County administers the grant.  Applications can be submitted to them in accordance with the schedule for the "Grants for Great Ideas."  A grant application form is included.

Project requirements include:
· Resource conservation theme should be expressed in the planned activities.
· Incorporate service learning as a teaching technique.
· Teacher must use the application form.
· Teacher must attend a half-day in-service training session.
· Teacher must complete a final report at the conclusion of the project.
